REGARDING THE PILGRIMAGE GROUP’S TRAVEL TO INDONESIA

Dear friends and supporters of Master Minh Tue and the pilgrimage group,

Today, on April 1st, 2025, Master Minh Tue and the pilgrimage group have decided to travel from Malaysia to Johor Bahru to continue their journey to Indonesia. This decision aligns with the group’s permitted stay in Malaysia and fully complies with the immigration regulations of the respective countries.

For nearly 30 days, the pilgrimage group has experienced a joyful and meaningful time in Malaysia, receiving immense support from local residents, Buddhist followers, devotees, as well as assistance from the police and Malaysian authorities. This journey has been filled with blessings, valuable lessons in compassion, and deep human connections.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown support, offered kindness, and walked alongside the group during their time in Malaysia. In particular, we sincerely thank the volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to assist the group throughout this journey. Your help, generosity, and goodwill have been an invaluable source of encouragement for the pilgrimage.

The decision not to extend the visa in Malaysia is simply to facilitate the group’s ongoing journey, in accordance with the spirit of non-attachment to any fixed place. This is not an abrupt or unexpected decision but rather a natural progression of the pilgrimage.

We acknowledge that some inaccurate or misleading information has circulated from certain individuals and unofficial sources. The pilgrimage group remains transparent, abides by the law, and encourages everyone to follow updates from official channels to avoid misunderstandings.
