Preparations for the Dhutanga group’s arrival in Singapore

The preparations are supported actively by volunteers in Singapore.

The preparations in Singapore include:

1. Planning the journey; surveying rest/stopping points;

2. Contacting temples and the Buddhist community in Singapore for sponsorship;

3. Preparing necessary documents to submit to relevant government agencies in Singapore;

4. and many other preparations.

This is an unprecedented activity in Singapore, so there may be challenges and difficulties. The volunteers in Singapore are determined to contribute to the smooth journey of the group’s walking pilgrimage to practice the teachings of the Buddha in Singapore. We deeply appreciate the contributions of the volunteers in Singapore.
